Johny Britt - Marvin Meets Miles (2016) (SOM Exclusive)

There are artists who so much sink into the soul of a large number of music lovers around the world, that from this it becomes even a little uncomfortable. Today, instead of the regular jazz collections - which I just can not pull together, we have to evaluate a new creation from one of the best jazz trumpeters of our time, discussed today will be about Johnny Britt and his tribute to the great king RnB/Soul music by Marvin Gaye.

Let's start with an explanation of the essence of the plate, I have been looking for clarification why the work is called 'Marvin Meets Miles', because it musically is just about the best compositions by Marvin, and here Miles Davis? The only sensible idea came to me suddenly - by Britt plays the trumpet, as well as Davis and I want to believe that this kind of allegory - when Johnny Britt (he himself puts into place Miles Davis) got acquainted with the work of Marvin Gaye. Well, I am not against such an approach, it will be very interesting to listen to the interpretation of the actor that he was able to bring to the already jammed into holes of the composition, not to be confused with bored.

10. You Sure Love To Ball (Ft. Boney James)
11.Marvin Meets Miles (Miles Mix)

The first thing that comes to mind when listening to Marvin several classic tracks - so should sound Gaye in 2016, the year when he was alive and released remastering the record, I would not have refused such jazz sound! This fact once again proves how great was the music of the King, no matter how many different remix/tribute/cover songs, we did not listen, we always learn classical notes, which can not bring change, but this is not necessary, because these compositions are beautiful! All that is needed - is to breathe into them a 'fresh' sound, use the latest tools to write a little more jazz arrangements - here it is a recipe plate/tribute the success of this artist. In my opinion Britt did everything so beautiful and the best of what I am pleased to add to your playlist, God knows what the interpretation of the account of the great hits of the past. I also think that Johnny did an excellent voice work, not on your nelly not infringed the rights of the original, only introduced to the work of his musical melancholy, by the world of music, which we unfortunately have lost and are unlikely to ever be repeated.

Let's go back to the first line of my little review and think about what to us is Marvin Gaye, it seems to me that many of us agree that it was a legend of music that never dies, his work underwent a huge test of time. It is to this work, we all go back to come up with something new, be it artists, listeners or musicians - they all remember and honor presented by the artist. I would recommend to all, without exception, to hear this work, because it is so real music should sound, and the Jazz culture lover will be pleasantly surprised by the elegant jazz sound.

From alternative music go to the classic RnB

#Usher #YoungThug #Migos #WillDowning #New #RnB

Usher - Still Got It (Ft. Migos)
Usher - Still Got It (Ft. Migos)

From alternative to turn to classic RnB and today we have a little holiday, as a sufficient number of tracks and each will choose something for themselves. You could even say that today a compilation of tracks consists essentially of a single artist.

Usher - apparently agonizing waiting behind us, and all we will soon hear the long-awaited release from one of the most popular artists RnB. According to the release is scheduled for July this year, I want to believe that these rumors come true, and yet our entire court issued three singles. The only issue that I care about is whether will the 4th single release th 2015, a new record, or record the Usher brand new album?

The first track for me is the best of all the singles out below. The first impression is that it is Chris Brown, only the vocals multiplied by 1000 positions. We have long been aware of the artist's love for such - RnB ballads powerful enough to remember Hey Daddy, Love In This Club, etc. In general, I am happy that Usher back with quality and good material, we can only wait for the plate itself...

The second song I liked less than the first, but I was able to insight Usher and perhaps on the whole record, this track will be very good to listen to, especially among the already well-known hits. Although in general the track reminded me more Justin Bieber - or something like that, though his vocals Usher can echo the miracles, and then track perceive quite differently.

The third composition is not clear where it came from, such as the new single and the like from Usher, but neither the style nor by a cover, not in the sense of - this work can not log on to a future record, which we discussed above. Either this is a track from any soundtrack or collection or something I do not understand. The very composition seemed to me very weak, it is not the Usher, rather it is a party to the vocals from another rap artist.

Will Downing - Everything I Miss At Home
Will Downing - Everything I Miss At Home

Downing - I already wrote that the July 8, scheduled to be released new album from one of the geniuses of music Soul. Now it's time to listen to the first single, and make sure that the work will be done at a very high level. Moreover, if you read the media, it becomes clear that this is the first full (meaning the money invested) work over the years. He himself is the living embodiment of a single classic sound, which we all expect from Downing is, personally I am looking forward to yield the intended release!

01. Everytime I Missed At Home
02. Don't Ask My Neighbros
03. Your Smile
04. Get Here
05. Street Life
06. Everlasting Love
07. Black Butterfly
08. Nights Over Egypt

Little-known newcomers were able to surprise my sophisticated taste.

#6Lack #FinalDraft #RoyWoods #New #RnB

6Lack
6Lack

Last week, I missed our new section with an alternative RnB from beginners industry, so this week I fix embarrassing mistake. At this time, the composition crept diverse and important little known newcomers were able to surprise even my sophisticated taste.

6Lack - Quite by accident stumbled upon this artist, it is hanging in the top of the iTunes downloads, here and decided to listen. After that, once understood, it will be a worthy representative of the alternative headings RnB. All done in the best traditions of this time observing all that one could observe, I even began to like it strong enough to add this song to their playlist.

Final Draft - I've seen the video on this single and I knew about the existence of this single, but it only came out last week in the network, so I did not hesitate decided to add it to our selection. Guys I remember for several compositions from the past, as in the past, the guys are more relevant to the Underground style, but that does not overpower the debut album release. As for the sound, it's nothing special for myself, I have not heard it all already with Day26, Brutha, B5 and others.

Roy Woods - once two new singles came to passing week, more singles from the novice to the world of music, they are interested in me, first of all, an unusual sound. A sort of mixture of RnB/Zouk/Soul/Dance Hall/Reggae and bribed me with the first notes. The first single at all seemed a tough continuation of the good old Dance Hall style, and just such an artist as the Rupee.

The second thing already is closer to the current realities of fashion, except that the accent and manner of execution not going anywhere. In general, a character interesting enough, especially in today's dominance of monotonous electronics trying to squeeze out something similar to RnB. Let's see what will happen next and whether the album will be, for all of these singles.

E.Bland- Soulcentric (2008)
E.Bland- Soulcentric (2008)

Now that we have the opportunity to hear from the new release of the artist, since we already understand this year that Elijah goes to a new level with its second release, then I think there is no more reason to wait, it is worth assess the debut. Today we have to evaluate the work, which began the path of the artist, at the same time I listened to their debut album, which is still in the distant 2008th seemed interesting.

From the very beginning it is necessary to understand who is E.Bland and that the work he provided to our court. This actor relate to category Underground - so just wait for him a certain sound, but in reality goes a completely different feeling. That is rarely the feeling when a guy wants to transfer money to his account, if only he had the opportunity to write more and more, higher-quality albums, most importantly do not stop there.

That sound colors, which are represented on the album, envy even famous and successful artists, many even after decades can not find such a variety of sounds and musical techniques, which are used here. All this is written with a good mastering, and a great sense of style (it is also a sense of proportion). Bland as a vocalist for me is a very high level, I was very impressed with his ability to control his 'instrument', it really feels like a fish in water in any of the presented on the album styles. Speaking of styles, Funk/Soul/Neo-Soul/RnB/Blues/Jazz - all these colors you can easily hear on this record, if the actor moves easily over time, bringing us back to the classic sound of each style. And if you go back to the beginning of the paragraph - that I think any artist with Soul would be happy to get one of the tracks from this album for their personal use.

Overall - this is one of the Underground culture diamonds, carefully stored in my modest music collection. I would advise first to evaluate this work for those who like this style as the Soul/Neo-Soul - I even think you have to know this guy. Then included in the audition tracks those who love a good RnB, with live instruments and vocals beautiful - you will not be disappointed. Third, but not least will be those who simply love good music, I think you should also join the black musical culture!

Slim (112) - Refueled (2016)

Slim (112) - Refueled (2016)
Slim (112) - Refueled (2016)

If you lived in the days of my youth, you know who is and who are the Slim 112, in those days they did not know probably the only people who have grown up on other music. 112 - were kings guys personified a whole era of his group of young boys and girls, it was one of the coolest symbol of the late 90s and early 2000s. Unfortunately, only the artist has decided to embark on a solo career, to even more unfortunately - the way it was not so and easy.

Course is well understood that in 18-21 you appreciate the little things in a completely different music, you're not as important vocals, you do not look at the music slips, important thing to do for louder and girls that were brighter. All in good time, that's why real classic RnB artists are those who undergo the test of time and evolve naturally in his work, together with the audience, unfortunately neither the actor, with his solo, no 112 - do not pass this test for me. 112 If I listen to just for the wonderful memories - this is my little story, the Slim - very rare visitor in my playlist, all the matter is that this kind of music very quickly get tired, do not want to listen to her for hours, except that the first hour.

Musically, the record of course quite loses interest to me. In electronic terms, many newcomers captivate listeners and far more interesting. In the romantic and RnB plan, all we have heard and produce 'hearing duplicate' in their playlists nobody wants. Good vocals and beautiful building breeches / verses / choruses and could do the trick, but on this disc is not provided with any one nor the other. But this guy was the leader in 112, he performed 90% of all vocal parties and it is very sad, we all went forward - raised the plan, and the artist of this did not do. And finally, the text running on a given plate was quite unsuitable, the whole thing again in the age of the audience, which requires more creativity.

In general, this work has turned something in between Underground RnB and work 112. The money it is not a lot invested, so the sound is so simple, and heard that almost all came up at home Slim 'garage'. So I would recommend this job only two groups of people: the first - they are people who from 14 to 21 years and you are a fan of RnB, without any claims of age. Second - it's the people who fanateyut by 112 and still can not forget those days, you may be pleased to hear the familiar sound.

Evening alternate releases!

Evening alternate releases!
#TalayRiley #Major. #KevinMcCall #MauriceMoore #New #RnB

Talay Riley - Not Enough
Talay Riley - Not Enough

Today we have almost evening alternative releases. I was able to collect as many as four tracks in this category, and I hasten to share them with you. And in general are heading I really like, so I have my finger on the pulse of the music and not miss anything interesting, staying up to date RnB fashion trends and new products.

Talay - Another newcomer, completely unknown to me, but attracted me the cover of their debut single, in the style of RnB 2000s. It turned out that the track is made very well and sounds very good, easy to listen to, suitable as a soundtrack in any environment. It will be interesting to see to which records will this promo, unless of course the general will.

Major. - This is obviously a novice with potential. This is evident from the name of the artist, from his cover and heard of his tracks. I think we can get a very good album and one more beautiful newcomer to the world of RnB. A small clarification is necessary to make the fact that the actor studied with Mali Music is his friend, and then I think it may be a lot to talk about.

Major. - Keep On (Ft. Kevin McCall)
Major. - Keep On (Ft. Kevin McCall)

As for the tracks, there is suitable expression of the famous advertising - 'they are so different...'. Singles really very different, the first - in the style of Aloe Blacc and a capella RnB/Soul with elements of live sound and excellent text. The second - made especially for me as a fit perfectly to my mood for the day. Great sound straight from the 90's, with ageless receiving a vocoder, which just makes my soul nostalgia for the old sound. And of course a very good mix (in the spirit of Mali Music) adjacent to each other of different musical styles, which subsequently gave a great single.

Moore - In the end, I decided to add this newcomer, not so much because of the coolness of his singles as headings for diversity and in order not to lose sight of nothing more or less quality. In fairness, I note that despite the seeming simplicity of the arrangement and its 'lack of seriousness', as a whole the quality of the track at a good level. Some Bridget could completely build a separate track. Let's see what will happen next, whether to develop a career in general this newcomer.

Ro James - Eldorado (2016)

Ro James - Eldorado (2016)
#RoJames #New #RnB

Ro James - Eldorado (2016)
Ro James - Eldorado (2016)

At present, the network has another release. Once I decided to cover those new to the world of music RnB, it is to do it accurately. Today we have to evaluate the debut work by the artist, who initially presented himself as a child of our time, and it was only on the electronic sound.

Of course the rumor is hammered and similar electronic work is very difficult to distinguish between them and listen constantly podsilu is only true fans. I'm not saying that it is bad music, I would argue that it is temporary. There is certainly something that catches the ear of any listener, but overall it is a fashion music and I doubt that after 10 years it is this record. In principle, James is not to blame for being born at such a time, he wants fame and money, and this has to be considered with the listener, for this reason I have decided to highlight an album, so to speak, and pay tribute to the time mode.

Musically the work is at the required level. The style have something between very electronic sound and music these openings. Ro - performs exactly as required by the genre, I could not hear any outstanding data, so it is rather a plus than a minus, albeit performed in this style. In any case, this is not the worst thing of all that I have ever listened to, sometimes even possible to listen to the end of the track a couple of times. By the way - "places..."- that's the word that can fully characterize the plate. For the debut of this work is between two and three (out of 5 points), may continue to be something a little more interesting, but greater prospects should not vest, it will srednyachok our time.

I would recommend this work to those who love overcast/oppressed/Ñ‚and electronic RnB, maybe you will like it more than me. Certainly worth listening to those who were born in the late 90's, so I think the reader will be pleased to add to his collection of another electronic release. I'm going to do a second post that I obviously have to like that better.

VA - Old But Gold Vol.15 (Blackstreet Edition)

VA - Old But Gold Vol.15 (Blackstreet Edition)
#Blackstreet #RnB #Reminisce

#Blackstreet
#Blackstreet

Long time we did not set with you in a nostalgic trip, it was time for a long time to correct this gap. Not by chance a few days ago I came across on hearing one song presented in this compilation, after which I had the idea to release a collection of vintage with this group. The number of plates produced seems to be growing, but the quality is much hramaet, in such a situation, there is nothing left but to relieve bits of high quality material + listen again old and already known material + rediscover old men. Actually today will talk specifically about these old goodies - a group called Blackstreet, once won a very wide audience and to this day is considered to be legends RnB.

The guys on the right zanili niche classic of our time, a rhythm and blues band, standing in a row with such masters like: Dru Hill, Jagged Edge, 112, New Editon, etc. In spite of the ever-changing composition in my memory. already three times, the guys kept the brand until recently and produced very high-quality releases for my liking guys squeezed out almost all of his career groups. By the way, such as the rumor that the guys are going to come together in order to record a new little album, actually it is a very good PR move and a great gift for all fans, bored by the music RnB era of the 90s.

However, in my opinion, the idea with groups passed, or rather did not pass, artists delight us with chic plates have grown up and have to go further into the solo voyage. Practice shows that the group does not exist for a long time together, there comes a time when we must go further, but the initial launch and promote their own behalf - this is a very significant appointment. Blackstreet presented us with two very cool artists at the time of their departed Dave Hollister - which to this day continues his solo career, it is worth noting that quite successfully. Teddy Rilley - one of the ideologists of the group, as well as one of the main vocalists, unfortunately never went into solo sailing, but has become a good producer, gave us a decent amount of RnB hits. Thus, we get smtuatsiyu when this group gave all the fans a few posh plates, which occurred at the time and crank up the prospects of their project, for which they thank you very much.

Musically - these guys literally embody RnB that time, the most interesting thing that the works written in 94-96-99 years make me a lot more response in the heart, rather than the album written after the 00-ies. The first plate is perceived at one go, it is very difficult to say that it was written at that time, I can easily hear these works at Joe instance in 2000-2003 - for example. If you want to - it's Vibe - one of the cleanest Vibe I've heard such juicy tracks is very rare to find, which is why I am happy to re-listened discography boys and chose a better composition. I think it's never too late to return to 'black out' to once again be absent from her.

Dvsn - Sept. 5th (2016)

Not that I was a big fan of the artists and a big fan of this division music RnB, but I was curious to listen to this release, especially when I got the record on CD. What is so found in this white guy many fans of RnB music, at the same time I decided to write a little review - based on their emotions produced while listening to this album.

I must say, I will not write how this guy came out and talk about his way, and even about his ancestors did not write a word. plate concept can be described by a single phrase, so I will not invent adjectives to stretch review. This is an electronic record, and I got the impression that he wrote her DJ and not a singer or musician, but let's all in order.

I had the impression, for many reasons, firstly, the cyclical music, constantly repeating samples in each track. There is no beginning, development and climax of the track is audible after the first minute of listening. Second, the actor has a fairly mediocre vocals, and a good hiding this fact - it helps a variety of electronic gadgets that embellish cons. Even if we take the construction of his verses and choruses - all this looks more like vocals to the track, rather than the beautiful a cappella version. Thirdly, I have not heard the music, even if the living drops can be added. Therefore, the impression that the written record DJ, an aspiring singer and all electronics in the soul, RnB and pushed it simply temporitme. In fairness, I note that the plate is made qualitatively enough - if we take into account what I wrote above. I would even say it is a good electronic project, perhaps the best I've heard for Legenkiy House is an elegant option.

Why Gallant cooler? Why did I listen to Gallant? Because he's gorgeous singing because he has made to the electronic music those notes, for which mu love and listen RnB/Soul 90s, rather than simply overwhelmed fashionable samples of all of us. I still believe that Gallant left the best electronic album and I will compare it with all the electronics before and after.

This plate is for fans of different projects and different DJ mixes electronic music styles, including RnB. I think that the fans will Dvsn necessarily satisfied. Everyone else I can say this - electronic music is our present and near future, so let us try to find in it something that will close for you, as I did this year.

P.S. By the way, I believe that today it is the alternative heading RnB, because the tracks I have not been able to collect.

From the video, we will gradually move to the new singles

Eric Benet - Sunshine
Eric Benet - Sunshine

From the video, we will gradually move to the new single, which also accumulated quite a few this time. I parted a little secret, in the future we are waiting for a lot of interesting releases that support not only the data of the composition, but also those that are still impossible to buy in iTunes.

Benet - I have already said that the choice of the first single is not the best. And after listening to it a few times I confirm my opinion. Of course everything is done well, the sound such as we are accustomed to hearing, but the song is boring, it seems to me a month, few people remember it for the last two records. Let's see what will be on the plate itself, I hope there will be more variety.

Lloyd - he also returns this year, gradually we recruit good collection of releases this year, perhaps I can predict that it will be very difficult to choose the best plate. The single I'm still good to hear (I listen to it for more than a week), I could clearly hear the allusion to one of the albums of the artist, one of the best albums - 'Street Love'. I would not refuse to receive the second part of this record, I think this one is the coolest and the authentic style of this singer.

Craig David - One More Time
Craig David - One More Time

By Craig - I'm sure that the new record of the artist's very close and the proof of this new single - the third in a row. I am glad that the actor has decided to bet on a root style with a slight addition of fashion, now it is fashionable this sound - it is good for the clubs and radio. I think that the fans will be satisfied with the plate, the plate in the UK will also be a success, I did not yet have an aversion to such a variation of the Garage, but to listen to it in my player not eager.

T.I. - Despite the fact that I am not liking the style of Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop good always dilutes my playlist. New single from the frame once the coolest. We used a sample from a steep Aaliyah and the culprit himself Dr. Dre - and the whole mix is doing its job. The actor reads beautifully and skillfully - and what else is needed to fly we were to provide excellent hot tracks.

Today I was able to find as many as four work

This is my collection of clips does not end there, though rarely, but I still look through live performances, most performances on various television shows and other acoustic works. Today I was able to find as many as four works, which will be interesting to see everyone.

Maxwell Performs 'Lake By The Ocean'
Maxwell Performs 'Lake By The Ocean'

Gallant - What to say after watching this video? Cool! Awesome! The guy is clearly from another planet, once again the United Kingdom does not like anything. Gallant, in turn, is well entrenched in my playlist and now I closely follow his career. Rate fullness and staging a live performance - is rarely meet, but as a guy sings - is it possible to distinguish the studio recording of a live performance. And then I can say that it is such performances should be in the style of Electro RnB.

Maxwell - This is an artist I can not rasslushat, I do not like his manner of performance. But he's a dinosaur Soul music and for that I respect him more than that it is perfectly coped with his new single, it came all at a very good level. And the track is not so weak, listens easily. I especially appreciated the suit (pants separately), like Maxwell kept it to the end of the 90s.

Benet - not quite live performance and not quite a full acoustic, but as the official video is a little true, I decided to put it in this post. Single we will discuss a little later, when I divided novelties, and while we will focus on the upcoming album, which I hope will be my next purchase, even though not the best choice for the first single.

Keith - As a bonus, I decided to put this acoustic version of one of the tracks of the artist. So far, we expect the album and the video output on the latest single, let's go back a bit and listen to how Robinson accumulating audience releasing such acoustics. In this video there is even a story, albeit not large, but it looks all very high quality and beautiful, but the most important thing is of course a live voice and sound!

4 video to any color and taste

Long time I did not spread the video and now has accumulated as much as 4 video clip to any color and taste. Some works are intended to whet your interest in the already released platelet opposite vengeance advertise is only coming to the door releases.

Hollister Dave
Hollister Dave

BJ - Despite the failed record, this video made me a lot of emotions. Not only that Kid withdrew his home mom video, but in fact flashed her a song and made a wonderful video series that will touch the hearts of all people on this planet. And the track is one of the best of the album, of course it's great when actors make such gifts to the mother.

Slim - After watching a video already published records can state a few facts. We all grew out of this kind of music, and 112 remain in our hearts as a good memory - it's even longer referring to the plate itself. We all grew out of clips and all of us have grown out of these girls. Work frankly weak, both in terms of video and audio in the plan - and this is the best track on the album. By the way, glasses and could wipe before shooting!

David - This actor is clearly preparing the record in conjunction with the garage-style light deep house. Preglasil it for this purpose a variety of artists and music business here in the light came the first video clip. The song is quite dynamic and a similar number of video certainly depressing, looking absolutely not that, could do more effects and make more graphic quality video, you can even dilute the dancers, as well as audio gone far ahead of the video.

Holister - Ahead of the record, and I hope very much that it will be one of the best this year. Audio I do not really have to taste, but the video idea seemed very steep, the most important thing that removed all the quality and professionalism. Even without the question remains, and chicanery. Perhaps here should look video clip in 2016, the year when it comes to this RnB.

Gregor Porter - Take Me To The Alley (2016) (Bonus Tracks)
Gregor Porter - Take Me To The Alley (2016) (Bonus Tracks)

As has become customary in this year, the bonus tracks were not long to wait, immediately after the release of the deluxe edition was released. The main difference is in the data tracks that are not quite obviously are still records, furthermore, the composition 4 divided into two parts.

First - it works with meters Soul/RnB sound, which rallied with great pleasure to give the 'expensive' sound worthy of any album. It seems that the actor has decided not to deviate from their favorite style and released one of the best jazz records, but to give a tribute to fashion is necessary, therefore, there are two luxurious remixes that are naturally closer to the RnB style. What Porter thank you, I have great pleasure to send those two songs to his playlist.

Second - it works with remixers who presently stand in one row with Pop/Hip-Hop artists, occupying a niche dance music. I can not say that I'm good with this style for my taste is the music did not live, but I understand why Gregory went for it. Perhaps these remixes will give most popular album, and maybe even people listening to light House others listen to the composition and will discover all the depth of jazz.

In general, the bonuses were very diverse, in the color and taste, unlike the plate itself, but together they form an elegant hodgepodge that will please any music lover.

Gregor Porter - Take Me To The Alley (2016)
Gregor Porter - Take Me To The Alley (2016)

As it happened, I drew attention to this artist's undeserved late. I miss the time when music community decided that Gregory is a genius. I missed the moment when the actor got his well-deserved Grammy. This is because of my carelessness that corrected our regular column with jazz compositions and today in the light of the new record came out from one of the most significant artists of our time.

First, let's deal with those who the Porter and that he wants to tell us. I will not retell his biography, simply describe their thoughts. For my taste Gregory - dinosaur dinosaur jazz that supports classic, expensive jazz classics. It displays a classic jazz sound to a new level without too much tinsel, it does what it does best, giving millions of people on our planet, some kind of emotion, and a few minutes of true musicianship. In principle, in such a way can be described in the record, because it's a real classic Jazz, let's say thanks to Gregory, for the fact that we were lucky enough to live in a time when he is just beginning his musical path.

As for the music and performance, neither the first nor the second claim is simply impossible to apply. Musically, the record turned out like a marshmallow. Soft, light/air, enveloping all music listeners receptors, it does not lose a single gram of the classic recipe treats. We should also mention the tools designed to create an atmosphere (I mean bass guitar and double bass) - I think this is excellent decision to seize the sound atmosphere. Vocal feature of the artist is the depth of performance, it is possible to warm the listener without falsetto, or voice strain, all that is necessary in his case - to put it in the sense that he performs. It is faith in the fact that Porter sings and makes the listener literally travel back in a time when Jazz was at the peak of its popularity. Generally flaws I could not hear, it is unlikely that record is applied to the Contemporary, it is just for music lovers bored by the past.

As becomes clear from the above written, is to work for fans of classic jazz and for those who have difficulty accepting the plate published in the last 20-30 years. Gregory Fans will be pleased to get such a musical gift, because the work fits perfectly into the artist's discography. Connoisseurs records by Blue Note Records should also be interested in this album. I'm happy to take away a certain number of tracks in your playlist jazz, totally and completely surrender to the music!

A few new clips

This week came a few new clips, which I decided to share with you before the upcoming weekend. Today we have a video with complicated plots, sometimes even quite a cinematic scope, I think it will be interesting to all.

Anderson .Paak X BJ The Chicago Kid "The Season/Carry Me/The Waters"
Anderson .Paak X BJ The Chicago Kid "The Season/Carry Me/The Waters"

Keith Sweat - The first single came out, and now it's time to appear, and video. The video turned out certainly rustic, but everything was done according to the classics, all the attributes of a good RnB video clip there. One just can not understand why so poorly closing buckle on the belt, so as not to give free publicity. It was possible to hire a good specialist on the effects and closed on better, or even cut into the clip so that it does not leak into the frame. But the most important thing we should know is the fact that the plate - 'Dress To Impress' will be released on 22 July.

Gregory Porter - Except for the acoustic video series, I have not seen silly clips from this artist. So this time, a few days before the release of the plate, there was a new clip, which is filled with quite a good sense. In general I am happy deep tendency to shoot videos on jazz composition, any composition should always remove the clip with a specific promise.

Anderson .Paak - If you like this video reminded me of the work of Tim Burton, it's really fun to watch. In general, it seems to me that such a video and last album the actor was in his - authentic jet. I very much hope that the signed contract with Aftermath Entertainment turn creativity of beginner to even better track and especially the new release will not take long to reap. I'm sure that Anderson is not all told.

Ryan Leslie - MZRT (2015)

Ryan Leslie - MZRT (2015)

Ryan Leslie - MZRT (2015)
Ryan Leslie - MZRT (2015)

Sooner or later, almost all releases come out in one form or another, that this time the new record once one of the most popular producers of mid-2000s, came out, and now we can evaluate a new creation by Ryan Leslie.

Let us first deal with the data of the actor, who is he and why has released a new album is not for the masses. This album was released in limited edition and in several variations, one of which cost nearly $1,000. Who needs it and what's so special, nothing - I will answer. I do not even want to discuss this topic, each releasing their creativity as he wants. The bottom line is that the plate is positioned as a VIP work for individuals, and as I recall was not sold in retail stores.

Once upon a time, most recently, the actor was one of the best producers RnB hits and only lazy people do not have in their discography couple tracks produced by an artist data. Then Leslie wanted to sing, and it should be noted at this level went very well, the whole point was that like any great musician, he chose for himself the arrangement, it is not a match for the great vocal. Then there was the story of a missing laptop computer, which contained almost all the achievements of the musician, the way for it and have not received any of the promised reward. And now we come to the Hip-Hop style, kind of like Ryan always showed interest in him, but now took up the matter seriously.

From the point of view of music, there are no complaints, it's pretty smoothly sounds. Arrangements are different for every color and taste, some just heard from the signature sound of the artist. Vocal, or rather reading of natural nikakuschaya, of Leslie says more than reading and then I pour the whole barrel of tar. As Hip-Hop is a very poor performance, of course I do not deny that I did not close the mood like a combination of sounds, but as an experiment - this work is tolerated. I sincerely believe that this artist should not have to keep producing and it was necessary to deal with the fact that he does best, do not waste your time on trifles. I still remember the video in which the actor almost improvising with their experience, but unfortunately all their best arrangement, it spoils its unprofessional performance. I am sure that this album will be released on a good level, if you give him this rapper or RnB artist.

I would advise to listen to this work only two groups of readers. The first - is the fans of the musician, maybe something and hook you. Second - it's amateur lightweight, it can be said of commercial hip-hop, maybe something and hook you. I stand by my opinion and I will listen to the old stuff from Ryan Leslie.

These names you recognize the voice, eyes closed.

#ChrisBrown
#ChrisBrown

From alternative releases, go to the world of commerce, these names you will know the voice, eyes closed. Some of them are ready to record the exit, someone already reaping the benefits of sales, and some continued to release singles, with no specific information about future releases.

Chris Brown - You will not believe, but the actor has decided to strike while the iron and more, preparing to release a new album - 'Heartbreak On A Full Moon' will be released this year. In our judgment, a first single, and it should be noted that the track was very successful. Not only that, it is very suitable vocal abilities of the actor, plus everything he is closer to the release of 'X', which in my opinion is one of the most successful. I hope that the record will be in a good business, and we will hear a strong release.

Mario - What makes this actor, I still do not understand, to judge by his social networks, it just burns your grandmother traveling about the world in search of inspiration. And I'm not hard to write it, if this single is the result of inspiration for so much time, then I would place Mario changed his tactics. It is not known when and how the main album ahead of us, but what I hear it is very difficult to perceive as music, once the most promising newcomer in RnB industry. The most important thing missing tracks, so it's more musical, I heard the track if stolen from Trey Songz from his latest album.

Dave Hollister - this gentleman is always pleasant and interesting to listen to, because it does not change itself. I am confident that this year will be a very interesting mesh Soul releases (Eric Benet, Ruben Studdard, Maxwell and the actor) and make sure everything will be plenty to choose from. The album, entitled - 'The MANuscript' will be released on August 19, I have pinned their hopes on this man, who knows his business. Even though not the most forest criticism of the first single, I still hope to hear something worthwhile. I personally did not have the mood for me, or rather the mood of the composition is not entirely falls on my ears, the whole composition is made very cool.

Chris Brown - No sooner had we discuss the new album by this artist, as an addition he released another remix for one of the singles from his latest album. Just a fantastic performance! Seriously, I have not noticed the signs something tough, just a variation on a theme, a single for the final PR plate. Even guest star company does not change my opinion, the guys performed once without a soul. In general, a single star, especially for the last record fans.

Alternative RnB releases and singles

#MaliMusic #WilliamBell #TevinCampbell #New #RnB

Tevin Campbell
Tevin Campbell

Since I decided to conduct a heading 'electronic artists' RnB newcomers to the genre, then why not enter the parallel section with alternative release (or something like variety comeback). In general, it turned out as something unusual, which in principle I wanted, today we will focus on alternative RnB releases and singles that have come out over the past few weeks.

Mali Music - Immediately after the release of a new single, I appreciated the creativity of this guy and was pleasantly surprised by his approach to music. Now we will have the new record - 'The Contradiction Of Mali', which will be released this summer. The single for my taste turned chic, combining several musical directions and separately worth noting chic text that I'd handed out in schools, starting with grade 5-7. The vocoder has done his job well, just took us all in the 90s! Their hopes for a new release, I expect that there will be one of the most interesting releases of the year.

William Bell - Long time we did not hear of new releases from industry and oldies here very soon on our court will present the new album from one of the legendary Soul artists. Currently available two singles for listening and this is enough to understand that the record turn out in good style Soul, in the same, that for a long time did not appear on store shelves. A good mixture of Blues/Jazz/Soul sounds renders the sound of a single expensive and hardened vocals makes these tracks really interesting. We are waiting for the full release and enjoy the beautiful, already forgotten, the American sound.

Tevin - Another old man 90 came back with his new single and even with a new album. The album still has no name, and even the date of the release of her no, but something tells me that we'll hear it this year. I've never been a fan of creativity of the artist, but I love to hear the future work. Track a bit simple-minded and popsovat, but as far as I know - it's a kind of trick of the artist, therefore, a serious drawback is it is not necessary to call. I recalled the way the track - Chris Brown - With You.

P.S. It's funny that all covers singles creep up in the same style, it looks good.

Javier Colon - Gravity (2016)
Javier Colon - Gravity (2016)

Even in his youth, the actor gives me a lot of hope on account of his creative path. I wanted to present the actor has signed a contract with some well-known record label, but this did not happen and then Javier went to wander around the styles, experimenting with their performance and gradually lose yourself. Today we have to evaluate the new album, which, at least to me, is to answer the questions.

First, a little history, of Javier - Javier Colon as he was a member of one of the now popular TV show - Voice, has won and signed a contract with Capitol Records. At that time it was very prestigious, it is for this reason, the artist released two gorgeous plates, which are easy to listen to today. Then the relationship between the artist and the record label decided not to renew, then Colon went to the free swimming and did not do it very well. A mixture of Country, Pop, Acoustic music does not inspire confidence in me at the time and this idea I do not like so far. Now, there is a new record that simply must include this actor in one direction or another.

Musically, the work borders between light and good American RnB Pop music, sometimes these boundaries are erased completely. But my friend was right when he told me that is very easy to listen, really plate against the background of a completely non-irritating. Despite the apparent lack of striking compositions, musically woven work pretty hard, downright represents American music, I think it's a good product for the West. Vocally the actor has always been in my good books, and this time did not let me down, the boy was able to sing always. Is that music to put in order a little work on the arrangement of verses/choruses and is quite a good album. If you take the record as a whole, I would like to turn her closer to an early Donell Jones, but it turned still closer to Pop culture. It seems to be a nice start an acoustic loss and sings Javier gorgeous, but then the chorus is as if a light version of Jason Derulo, who was finishing the track.

02. Clear The Air
03. Giant
04. Gravity
05. My Perspective
06. Say
07. The Hard Way
08. For A Reason
09. It Don't Matter To The Sun
10. Walkin'
11. Never Know
12. Walking Blind
13. Hallelujah

The only thing for which I am grateful to this paper, what it reminded me of the fact that once upon a time I fanatel from this artist and is now my great pleasure listened to old records.

I would recommend this job to fans of this kid, maybe you will like the style in which he decided to become stronger. Then you should pay attention to those who love light music without much claim to focus, as well as those who love the acoustic versions of different hits, acoustic sound is enough. I will wait for better times and hope that someday will lead a creative way of the artist and in my RnB camp.

Contracts with a very well-known record labels

#RoJames #BernardFlowers #BSmyth #RickRoss #New #RnB

Contracts with a very well-known record labels
Contracts with a very well-known record labels

A few weeks ago I started a column in which the cover and decided to listen to you, along with newbies just starting their way in the RnB music. Not only did they release full releases, signing contracts with very well-known record labels. So even work these guys look very impressive, sometimes you think that a good generation is growing up with its disadvantages, but it is closer to RnB.

I have a strong feeling that does not leave me for a few months, this will be the year of electronic RnB. It seems that all surrendered, record labels began to compete who is steeper in the arsenal of electronics. The old men and seasoned artists began energetically promoting new blood taking a new milestone to RnB music. Army fans for a long time has passed for millions of people like this kind of music. As for me, I'm happy to watch the newcomers and I even really taste some of their compositions. But seriously, the level of electronic RnB noticeably grown, many artists have found a middle ground (look at Gallant, Anderson .Paak, dvsn et al.) And it is close to my favorite option. But let's all in order:

Ro James - accidentally stumbled on this actor, just flipping through the news, I noticed it the coolest cover for the debut record and this event made me listen to the singles. It turned out that the boy signed with RCA/Sony Records that in itself is a sign of quality. Number of tracks had accumulated as many as four of them, but before the album even a whole month, I can not say that I was amazed, but definitely a very good level. Musically everything is done well, there is a small niggle to obsession, which probably will not let me listen to it indefinitely. In general, singles will love fan of quality electronic RnB, but the most important thing is that the vocal man copes with its task, the party laid out quite interesting. And this will be the second actor August Alsina/Bryson Tiller, or will still be closer to the Gallant - we will know very soon, as soon as the record will be released.

Bernard Flowers - Another newcomer signed a contract with one of the most iconic record label (Epic Records), has provided us with their debut single. At this time the work is a little more fun than Ro, rather to say more positive work. Musically, everything has been done well, more pop sound sure someone will be on the hearing and will remember their corrosive chorus. I also still continue to observe the work of newcomers, including this character.

B. Smyth - Another representative of RCA/Sony Records, which can rightly be called a newcomer, because he has not released a single full-length album, while only singles spoiled. So it's time for me, together with you will get acquainted with the artist. Drew I certainly cherished phrase 'Maybach Music' - in fact it is a sign of quality and excellent arrangement. Even visiting the great and terrible Rick Ross merely adds points to this track. Musical works closer to the electro ballad in the style of RnB, is somewhat similar to recent work by Chris Brown. Let's see what comes next, what is the taste will be the first official release.

Overall, I am very pleased that 'war', which started the record labels, producers and young artists, because of all this win but we - the audience, who will be a new milestone in RnB music, which is likely to be better than the previous, because the actors almost groped the very golden mean.

VA - Contemporary Jazz Vol.37 (SOM Exclusive)
VA - Contemporary Jazz Vol.37 (SOM Exclusive)

Long time I did not spoil the readers a good jazz, the reasons for that a great many, but the most important of them is - difficult track selection of a certain quality. I'm getting more and more difficult to choose 8-9 songs that in my opinion, be able to express what I want to achieve spreading such collections. Today I did it and then the next week, all we secured a strong jazz.

Of course I try to expand their musical horizon, with a little more time to search for new artists, in order to diversify their collections. Unfortunately, it does not always work, so it is now a good jazz is difficult to find all that goes on the market usually is iterative. It is necessary to refer to the names that I have heard and known before. Therefore, a selection obtained a large collection, which are difficult to combine one main subject. Plus, my main source dried up a bit, so I can not boast of a disciplined collections periodicity, but I throw this thing in any case is not going to. Above it was a little explanation, let's turn directly to the music.

Over the past few months it has undergone several Jazz records, the artists with whom have long been deserved, but I do not add any one song in the collection today, as the material with these releases kept repeating that it was possible to repeat. This structure and composition, and the invited guests, and even if the tools are written in the same way, with the same tone. From which I conclude that the crisis of the genre come for a long time, he just dragged on longer than expected this audiophiles. Of course there are individuals that produce successful records, but do not dare call it jazz. Some words should be said about the instrumental jazz, I think he has exhausted almost all their resources, for the last month, I found myself thinking that looking for tracks with vocals, as virtually much, if not all, we have already heard. To what am I? The thing is that this style of how Jazz should not die in any case, even though my words, I really want to continue to do guys looking for new techniques, new sound solutions and experimenting not only with your friends.

Jazz Music should live, it makes our lives brighter and more expensive, you just listen to the composition Freddy Cole - Funny - unless you do not want to go at a time when such compositions were popular? Turn Dianne Reeves and James Day, is this not the most perfect combination of RnB/Jazz/Soul music? Try to ride on Moscow holidays (or your hometown) to the music of Eric Marienthal and Jeff Kashiwa, the road will play completely different colors, and you get a stunning charge of mood! And all the characters of one style, all that Jazz, which is appreciated by people so late, not respecting the time in which they lived, and who so quickly fading. More specifically it entered into a stage of stagnation from which it can only draw fresh blood.

Good old Elijah Bland

Quite by accident, I stumbled upon this character when I read the number of regalia, which he was awarded. What was my surprise when I finally realized he was talking about, good old E.Bland done a lot of noise in the middle of the 2000s.

Good old Elijah Bland
Good old Elijah Bland

For reference, E.Bland, he is Elijah Bland last great artist of Soul Underground, with a good sense of style and great vocal abilities. At the time, to get his records are in good quality have been a daunting task. In general, as you understand, I listened to this character in the past and was very happy to have him back, only this time one of the tracks he produced Gordon Chambers and I think we should come to expect gorgeous album.

As for the tracks, styles and music in general. It's all very sweet, Bland did a good job on the bugs, having worked on the sound quality and the manner of execution, as if listening to famous newcomer who collected his best stuff. If you want comparisons, it is Eric Benet, Ruben Studdard and other cool guys Soul of our time. In general this is an excellent singles and a good support for the future release and I am sure in advance (based on the works) that the record will be made to the top five!

As for the videos, since it's Underground, and is unlikely to in the near future will be Elijah famous artist, and the clips they take off in a special way and completely in a chaotic manner. It ranks as a simple, but very sincere and close to everyone. One can see that a man takes home, but very high-quality video, with a sense that never gets old. In general, the picture is perfect for musical accompaniment.

P.S. Recently out great surprises from lesser-known artists, such a trend can not but rejoice!
